Well, one day I told you I’d tip you off about my top 10 favourite youtubers, but since I’m finding it hard to choose, I’ve decided I’ll just name whichever ones I feel like naming whenever I feel like it.

Today in MiYoutubeFavorito: the industrious Chinese woman, Li Ziqi (李子柒)

She’s an astonishing woman. I know she’s human because one day I saw her eat a popcorn instead of putting it on the plate, but she’s easy to mistake for a princess, a fairy or a being of light. Everything she does is elegant, glamorous and pretty. It doesn’t matter if you catch her hauling a basket doing peasant work, she looks like she’s walking a runway. I’m convinced she has never farted in her life.

She cooks traditional dishes of infinite elaboration, tickling the food with her chopsticks. It seems incredible to me that life gives her enough time to do all these things and to have learned to do them. She lives with her grandmother, who is also a perfect grandmother. By the time I was ready to watch the prince arrive with the glass slipper, I learned in some comment that she has all the rest too: orphaned or something like it, evil stepmothers, she was a high-level chef, a woman in China, when she decided to leave it all to go care for her grandmother in the village, the family was humble…

They say there’s a video where she’s seen with a computer, and it must be the only one that looks like it belongs to this era or clashes a bit inside a Grimm tale. But I haven’t seen that one yet.

In general, whatever video you pick, they’re all very hypnotic and relaxing even though she’s working like a mule.

She has a playlist for each season of the year.

Here’s one of my favourite autumn videos, where she was drying persimmons (I didn’t even know that could be done), though the one where she rides a horse to pick flowers dressed like little red riding hood is also peak cool.

MiYoutubeFavorito, with this one you’ll cry.

I was already chasing Judithtiral around the world before she was mainstream.

More people than her mother started following her a gazillion years ago because she had the idea of pasting posters around Barcelona advertising her blog with a photo of a funny dog. Nobody beats her at creativity, wit and good vibes. When someone knows marketing, they know, and that’s it.

Then she traveled the world with a friend; they called themselves “Las Loli Planet” and for a while they were good vibes x2. Worth a look.

But what really brought me to share her in MiYoutubeFavorito is her individual channel. In today’s video she nailed it, truly.

She tells us the love story she got tattooed.

I predict I’ll be making mental reference to that story at key moments for the rest of my life.

Here, for you, you’re welcome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlFXdCRXsWg

Gracias N., you discovered her for me.
