Imagine that in the future technological developments make 99.99% of jobs superfluous.
At last humanity can contribute the necessary value at any point of any production chain without a single human having to work. Our slaves are, I don’t know, robots.
What do you think would happen?
I’m more interested in the political or sociological side than anything else. Does world hunger end, or do we keep at each other’s throats? What would interest humanity most at that point? Would the entertainment industry turn into something different?
