I admit that at first I signed up more out of trust that whatever Y. could teach me would interest me, than because of the title or syllabus of the course. With all the things there are to learn in the world, it didn’t look like a topic in my focus.
Bullseye. Full score.
I’ve learned a pile of things I not only didn’t know, but didn’t know I didn’t know. I’ve questioned things it would never have occurred to me to question. I’ve given attention and time to matters I was undervaluing.
Now I have new vocabulary: some clever person went and named things I had never thought about, because I didn’t even know what to call them. I think I’ve gone from having no clue there were people thinking about certain big things, to scratching sooome of the surface. You know that great feeling of glimpsing how sharp a lot of people in the world are? That, all the time.
Also, everything is documented far beyond what I’ll be able to digest.
Anyway, the thing is I liked it a lot, and it seems that in 2022 that train passes again. You know when you want the people you like to hear about the opportunities? Well, that.
