John Koenig’s project (YouTube channel, then a book) inventing words for emotions we all feel but no language ever named, Sonder, Kenopsia, Vellichor… Each is built carefully from real roots (German, Greek, Latin), which is why they feel like real words. Half my collection of untranslatable words turns out to be his inventions, which might be the biggest compliment a fake dictionary can get.
